Confidence vs Doubt

This is going to be one of a few entries I will enter for the Good vs Evil contest. If I had photoshop, I would have made this look a whole lot better for the Good vs Evil contest but I have what I have. I figured most people would be drawing demons and angels against each other, so I wanted to try something a little more internal. Within us all is our own battle between good and evil. Everything that connects to something good is confidence. Confidence in yourself, others, your faith, and in your dreams. Confidence is what keeps you moving forward. The confidence to talk to people and make friends, the confidence to be yourself, the confidence to do the right thing (including helping others). Confidence is what makes us better people and helps us make our dreams come true. However, not everyone is confident. Some have doubt and everything that is evil or negative clashes with doubt. Doubt is what makes you afraid, what makes you insecure and what holds you back. You make excuses, avoid people, and don't talk to others. It makes you feel unimportant, distrustful of others, and fills your head with so many things about you that are not true. Some people let doubt conquer their lives so much that it becomes something terribly miserable.

In having confidence, good wins in this internal war but in having doubt you let evil win. If ever in doubt, think of your family and friends and what they said to encourage you or to make you feel confident. If that does not help, believe in yourself because if no one else does you are your own last hope. I chose to do this because this is a never-ending war. Sometimes there are battles in which one conquers the other but be careful in choosing which one wins the war. This is based on my personal confidence based on what family and friends told me to keep me going. Sometimes I have doubt in myself and I think negative things about myself that I believe others think of me that are not true. The battle is on-and-off but I intend to make sure good wins this one. And this is not just a cliche' movie or story gig, this is my life. This is your life. Don't let evil conquer it.
